Use Android Camera in Any Video App on Windows 11 PC – Windows Insider Program Update

has some exciting news for 11 users! They are gradually rolling out a new feature that allows you to use your phone or camera in any video application on your PC. This feature is currently available to Windows across all Insider Channels.

With this new feature, you can enjoy the high quality of your mobile device's camera on your PC quickly and flexibly. Some of this feature's extraordinary abilities include switching between front and back cameras, pausing the stream during interruptions, and enjoying effects provided by your mobile model.

To use this feature, you must ensure that your mobile device has 9.0+ and that your version of the Link to Windows phone application is 1.24012* or more significant. Once you have confirmed your device is compatible, you can head to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mobile devices and choose “Manage devices.” This will allow your PC to access your phone.

It is important to note that your PC needs a Cross-Device Experience Host update in the Store for this experience to work. Once you have completed these steps, you can wirelessly use your phone or camera in any video application on your Windows 11 PC. How cool is that?
